Our purpose is to serve the needs of our membership in British Columbia by providing educational development and leadership opportunities, cultivating business relationships, supporting industry partnerships and demonstrating commitment to excellence in the meeting industry.

Awards and Recognition
The Awards and Recognition Committee organizes the prestigious June Awards Gala where the achievements of our members will be celebrated.
Communications
The Communications Committee oversees the website and social media.
Education
The Education Committee produces the Chapter's educational events - including four monthly meetings (, October, January, March, and May) and a series of professional and personal development programs throughout the year.
Member Care/Recruitment
The Member Care/Recruitment Committee focuses on increasing the value of membership and identifying members' needs to increase retention.
Special Events
The Special Events Committee is responsible for the September Schmooze, the Holiday Party, The June Awards Gala, and 2 other social events throughout the year.
Sponsorship
The Sponsorship Committee raises funds and in-kind donations needed to offset the delivery of our programs and operations. They actively solicit new partners, develop strong relationships with existing partners and develop new opportunities to increase sponsorship through recognition and increasing the value of the MPI connection with our partners.
CSR Task Force
The CSR Task Force works with the committees to implement sustainable best practices in their activities. They also are involved in communicating CSR best practices and ideas to our members and organizing the annual ECOS Project.
